This piece had a clear and urgent message: "There's Action in Anger". Although I channeled the energy of this art through my own anger at the time, it was clear that it wasn't my painting once it was done. Additionally, the painting wouldn't leave me alone! It kept me awake at night, waking me up at 2:22 AM and at that moment I just knew that this was urgent. Somebody needed this painting right away! If you found your way to this painting and you felt drawn to it, trust that instinct! It wants to be with you, reminding you each day of the power you have within you, the power of anger, action, movement and courage to stand up for yourself! 

Anger is good. Sometimes anger shows us when something is wrong, when we are being mistreated, or that something has to change right away. It's a good type of anger, it's a sign. It shines light on problems and power dynamics that are otherwise difficult to spot. Anger means it's not okay anymore to continue the way you have been living so far. The blues and greens in this painting connect to the throat and heart chakras as well, which link to expression, communication, speaking up, and being true to yourself, accepting yourself and your thruth, your right to be heard and treated well. 

** The colors on this one were hard to capture both on camera and as a scan, but there's hints of teal / turquoise blue and greens in this painting apart from the darker blues and greens.
